Saturday 16th, June
5:30 pm - 7:15 pm
Charlotte Street, Cooktown, Queensland, 4895
The story of Cooktown and our region begins many, many years before the arrival of Captain Cook and his crew.
Join us for a traditional Warrma and corroboree to witness a public performance of the Waymburr story.
Set against the backdrop of the sun setting on the Endeavour River, performers and artists from around the region will present their stories through dance, music and spoken word.
The performance will end with a traditional corroboree and the opportunity for you, the audience to join in some cultural dancing.
