Saturday 15th, June
7:00 am - 11:00 am
Webber Esplanade Cooktown
For the early birds keen for adventure, we explore uncharted territory right up into the upper reaches of the Endeavour River as far as we can go with 4 hours on the water. The landscape changes from a wide mangrove lined system, up into the beautiful rainforest pockets of the North Arm. This is country we rarely explore and holds endemic species of plants and animals unique to the Endeavour River. Keep your eyes open for the chestnut breasted cuckoo as we pass by towering Livistona Palms . It is rare to find either of these anywhere else in Australia. Be warned. This is croc country.
A light breakfast and tea and coffee is included. Back in time for lunch.
A special offer of 10% off at Driftwood Café for either breakfast (from 6am) or lunch is included. Ask for details when booking.
