Warrma – a celebration of Aboriginal Culture and Dance

Presented by national trust

Saturday 16 June, 5.30pm
Bicentennial Park, Charlotte Street, Cooktown

Admission:
Free

Overview:
The story of Cooktown and our region begins many, many years before the arrival of Captain Cook and his crew.

Join us for a traditional Warrma and corroboree under the stars. Set against the backdrop of the sun setting on the Endeavour River, performers and artists will tell the Waymburr story through dance, music and spoken word.

The performance will end with fire twirling and fireworks set off over the Endeavour River.
