Relive an important chapter in Cooktown’s history at the Cook’s Landing Re-enactment.

Through storytelling and live performance, this moving re-enactment shares the story of the arrival of the Endeavour on the banks of the Endeavour River in 1770, presented from both the Guugu Yimithirr and European perspectives.

Held in Bicentennial Park, the performance offers visitors a chance to reflect on the cultural significance and historical events that shaped the region.
